Aimee is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the Philanthropy team. Working closely with staff across the organization, Aimee provides administrative support for several areas of the Island Institute’s fundraising efforts, including donor communications and general support for the major gifts team.

A native of Greenville, Maine, Aimee's love of islands first began in this small town nestled at the base of Moosehead Lake. After earning her BS in Hospitality Administration from Boston University, she embarked on a westward journey that combined her career in hospitality and love of adventure. Her professional experience encompasses a variety of management roles, most recently at a small winery and goat creamery in Northern California.

Through her role at the Island Institute, Aimee is passionate about empowering individuals and communities to make impactful change on both a broad and local scale. She is happy to have made the move back home where she enjoys hiking, skiing, boating, and all the wonderful things Maine has to offer with her husband and daughter.
