Farah is responsible for all aspects of the Island Institute's membership and annual giving programs. Working closely with staff across the organization, she helps build the Institute’s visibility, impact, and financial resources and communicates with members regarding the benefits of their support.
Prior to joining the Institute, Farah worked for the NGO, Water for Good, which helps to create sustainable clean water systems in Central Africa, and the McKinney Family Foundation which focuses on clean energy in the state of Indiana. She holds a B.A. from Ohio State University majoring in fashion design and an M.A. from the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropic majoring in philanthropic studies.
In her free time she enjoys exploring the coast of Maine with her partner Kyle and their two rescue dogs Winston and Reggie.
