As the Executive Associate, Kathy serves as an assistant to Island Institute President Rob Snyder and performs administrative duties, scheduling, and logistical and operational functions. She also assists in planning the three Board of Trustee meetings each year, one of which is on one of the islands.

Kathy started at the Island Institute as a part-time receptionist in 1998, and she has worked as the building manager and in community initiatives, human resources, and accounts payable. She will celebrate her 20th anniversary at the Institute in November 2018!
