Meghan collaborates across the organization and is responsible for data analysis and translation for project teams, as well as GIS work involving capturing, analyzing, and managing geographic data. She serves on the Waypoints, Sea Level Rise, Education, and Maine Islands Coalition/What Works teams.

Prior to joining the Island Institute, Meghan lived in Ohio, where she completed her PhD in Regional Development Planning.

A native of Michigan, Meghan is excited to live in Maine and enjoy all of the outdoor opportunities the state offers, including backpacking, hiking, kayaking, and skiing. She lives in Owls Head with her husband and two dogs—a crazy Border Collie and a laid back Golden Retriever—and enjoys knitting, running, and exploring the outdoors around her new home.
