The fishing vessel Westward, moored in Boothbay Harbor since 2012, slipped its mooring and ended up on the rocks. In this photo, from the Boothbay Register newspaper, shows it being towed off the ledge.

The Westward was towed off rocks on Jan. 9 and was headed to Portland, the Boothbay Register newspaper reported.

The vessel has been a problem for the town, repeatedly breaking loose.
